1. The Keuka Indian name for the Keuka Lake meaning Bent Elbow by the Seneca Indian Tribe. Also, the club house is in the Keuka Lake Region.
2. Lake meaning small body of water.
3. Renegades named after the Thompson Center Black Powder Rifle. The club was formed in 1983 about the same time the Renegade Rifle was and still is.
4. Also in getting a name Renegade was a challenge, our ancestors said when they came here it was a challenge to survive with how they had to live.
5. Muzzleloader is a firearm loaded through the muzzle with black powder, wade, and ball.
